Welcome to Enhance Skin Aesthetic Studio

Rachael spent the first 3 years of her nursing career in Northern Australia working in small to medium sized hospitals in remote towns. She loved the huge variety of work and was especially passionate about the health of our First Nations people.

From there she moved to a larger private hospital in northern Australia and worked predominantly in medical surgical nursing for a few years until she was promoted to middle nursing management.

In 2011 she began working for a plastic surgeon in his clinic and her new nursing passion commenced.

In 2016 she moved to Brisbane with her family and by 2017 Enhance Skin Aesthetic Studio was created.

Rachael loves helping people feel better about themselves because they notice a little change in the mirror that then gives them a boost in confidence.

She is passionate about working closely with each and every patient to develop personalised treatments for the results that they are trying to achieve. Above all else, patient safety and comfort is always a priority.

She is known for her gentle, caring and honest nature. Her conservative approach to enhancements instils trust in her patients.

Rachael has also spent some time as a cosmetic nurse trainer and enjoys mentoring fellow nurses.

A career highlight was presenting a case study at the Australian College of Nursing workshop day at Cosmedicon in 2020.

When she is not at work she also manages all the administration for her husband’s company. Fun fact she started an accounting degree a few years after leaving school and loves a good accounting challenge.

She has one daughter who is now at university and a cat that she never really wanted but now obviously lets that same cat run the house.

She loves a good binge watch and often gets into deep dive discussions about shows with her patients.

She is very passionate about women’s health and how women are not often listened to. Which has then lead to a little side hobby of learning more about medical misogyny and how we can help our patients advocate more for themselves in the health system.
